²⁵ Similarly also the cup after the dining^[a], saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. Be doing this, as-often-as you drink it, for My remembrance”. ²⁶ For as-often-as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you are proclaiming the death of the Lord, until which time He comes.

So Don’t Partake of It In a Manner Unworthy of What He Did: Examine Yourselves

²⁷ So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily^[b] shall be guilty^[c] of the body and the blood of the Lord.
